Snow capped mountain peaks, jagged and towering, consume each side of this sweeping scene. Over laden snow banks and cliffs test the hardiness of fir trees, branches bowing with the weight of white. The dark foreboding sky above promises even more snow soon. It is only a wonder who or how one would travel the snow packed road that winds between nature’s majestic fury to a horizon of momentary light. Still, one lone lit Christmas tree beside a simple chapel stands as an illuminating testament to the perseverance of the human spirit and the overpowering truth that “faith can move mountains.”
